Every three months, The King's Daughters magazine comes out with stories, puzzles and devotions. I admit it's mostly for ladies and young ladies 8 and up but that's no reason you can't look at it :0) Enjoy all the fun at: https://issuu.com/thekingsdaughters. On days I don't feel funny... I just look at other people and copy them :0)  Or... animals are even better! 2. Took something out.
3. Sewed something up. 4. Saw something cool. 5. Diagnosed that cool thing. But really: 1. Honored God and helped other know Jesus better. Why do we pay for expensive traffic signs that tell us what we already know? Observe:, an "End Road" in front of a brick wall -- Why, yes, we got that. “No Center Stripe” – Why, yes, we can see that. “Gravel Road” – Why, yes, we can hear that. “Unmaintained Road” – Why, yes, we can feel that. “Use both lanes during backups.” Uh…who’s struggling here?  Can you imagine being a man named "Hur" (Exodus 17:12)? Or how about a guy who was so rich he didn't need a job but his name was Job? But arguably worse is a woman named after deli meat like Salome (Mark 15:40) or a married man with children called Nun (Exodus 33:11). Of course, at least they got names -- the Queen of Sheba just got a title and Mrs. Noah just a role...so maybe Salome isn't too terrible?  |
