Dog bites are at an all time high in our ED: What is the correlation between dog bites and quarantine? Social distancing is important but don’t be afraid to ask your neighbors for help if you lock yourself out of your apartment. Especially if it is on the third floor.
Household indoor shooting sports are discouraged – regardless of quarantine instructions. We were discussing the story of Legion and the pigs and someone said, “What happened to the demons after the pigs drowned?”
“It’s immaterial!” I couldn’t help myself. Theoretically, if you have an on the job injury, at your essential job, do NOT go home and smoke marijuana for two hours to see if it stops the bleeding. Can you say, “You’re fired.”? And just because there is a pandemic, it doesn’t mean that COVID is causing all your symptoms. That crushing chest pain could be your heart attack.  If you haven’t ridden a bike in 30 years and now weight twice what you did then…biking riding is best performed on a stationary bike…with a spotter.
