When I worry about the past -- I remember that God has already forgiven all my sins and He is powerful enough to redeem all my mistakes.
When I worry about the present -- I remember that God is with me and using me for His glory. When I worry about the future -- I remember God is the only One Who has already seen it and He controls it. Past, present, or future I am safe in God’s hand. …like carrying what you believe to be a compact poncho (for years!) only to (finally!) be caught in a downpour and discover it's a bag, barely big enough to cover your head. True story.  When I see the name: Ashley, I expect a girl. When I see the name: Jordan, I expect a boy. When I see the name, Kennedy, I expect a president. When I see the name, Juniper, I expect a hyper dog (who also causes allergies).  If my biggest complaint is that my mask has rubbed my nose raw,
I guess I am doing pretty good. Lord, help me be grateful and remember those who are dealing with so much more than a sore nose. |
