Phil 2:5-11
I don’t know about you, but I often think about what Jesus said and suffered. I rarely meditate on what He gave up to come to earth for me: His perfect power, His perfect knowledge, the beauty of heaven’s holiness, immortality. And I think even less about what He took onto Himself to come to earth. Uncertainty. Pain. Tears. Toil. He even shared my sin nature (and He won!). Maybe this Christmas is an opportunity to consider Christ’s sacrifice from this perspective. Is there room in my heart for this Selfless Savior? Comments are closed.
