You Know Your God is Too Small If....
He's "not allowed" to do Something You Can't Wrap Your Mind Around

COVID Sermon on the Mount (Part 2)

9/25/2020

You are the masked of the earth but if the mask remains, how shall we see each other smile?
You have heard that it was said to those of old, “You shall wash your hands before you eat.”
But I say to you, “You shall wash your hands before eating, before touching your face, after touching your face, before getting out of the car, after getting out of the car, and every other time you think about it.”
Touch not and you shall not be touched. Socially distance and other will socially distance from you six feet or more and running over with hand sanitizer.

COVID Sermon on the Mount (Part 1)

Blessed are the masked, for they shall be socially accepted.
Blessed are those who order take-out, for they shall support small business.
Blessed are those who stay in-state, for they shall not be required to quarantine.
Blessed are the quarantined for they shall not have to put up with human stupidity.
Avoid news outlets and eschew social media, for great in the onslaught of misinformation and political agendas.

Things You Don’t Want to Learn on the Way to Jail…

9/11/2020

  1. 1. They lost your paper work.
  2. 2. You are pregnant.
  3. 3. Your significant other cannot keep you company (though this shouldn’t come as a shock…).
  4. 4. The emergency department cannot be used as a drop for drugs.
  5. 5. There is only one judge and he is on vacation.
And just FYI, being suicidal (drunk or high or a jerk) will not keep you out of jail.

Funny Thanks (Part 2)

Picture
For all the extra time during this pandemic – I thank you, God.
Thank you, God, for making me nearsighted – that way I couldn’t see the car accident we almost got into.
Lord, thank you for statistics because if I don’t like one, I can always find one that I do.
And I praise you, God, that I don’t know the future because then I would have even more things to worry about…unless I should be worrying about not knowing the future…should I be worrying about that?
